"The Mistake that Turned Out Great"

My first journalism piece is not exactly what some might even call journalism. However, everyone starts somewhere, and my journalism starts here.

This is a picture of a Circular Polarizer (used to cut down on glare, and help to enhance blues and greens). The day before this picture was taken, I was in a class leaning all about lighting and a little bit about filters. Wanting to put the new acquired knowledge to the test, I started to practice. I started to shoot to see if I could see a difference with or without the polarizer, and as I was pondering (with the filter in my hand) I quickly snapped a shot of me holding it. So in a sense this shot was not thought out, in fact, it was not thought out at all. But it turned out okay and I thought I should share it.

Enjoy...

Or maybe you were just inspired because I was standing there. Just kidding Peter ;-)
This looks great!
Can I edit your journalism posts for you though? Would you mind horribly if I copied them, changed a couple things and emailed them back to you?
