First Days of Spring

It was a beautiful day! Finally. There was a slight breeze that rushed over my skin. After waiting in the sun pondering what I should do, I ventured inside in search of a kite. I found one. However, this kite was very old, and being so old I did not know if it would fly.
I strung it together and up it went with not a care at all. My neighbor, Noah, came home and saw the great fun I was having and thought he should join in.
So the photos are of Noah, and the old look of the photos was on purpose because we were using an old kite. In addition I used some green and read filters for effect but mainly for practice.
Enjoy...

Guns

At the moment I have been working on a film that is composed of only pictures. The whole project is very different for me, so I have needed to do extra reading and practicing. The film really focuses on the light aspect. All of photography has to do with light, however this is really “lighty” if you catch my drift.
So don't be at all alarmed by these photos, they are fake guns and it is merely a test of lighting. However I want to share them with others so they can see what I can do with light.
Photographers are after all “Light Writers”...

Dinner Theater

Students form Oregon City private school Kings Academy (KA), fully dressed for their second play of three. It is a collaboration of three different musicals: Wizard of Oz, Scarlet Pimpernel, and the Phantom of the Opera. It was about three songs from each play, performed between food courses.

The main course of food was lasagna with a white sauce, chicken, mushrooms, and a variety of cheeses, made by Abigail Lortz. It was simply divine. Dessert consisted of Angel food cake topped with strawberry sauce.

Jason Prentice (dressed for the Scarlet Pimpernel play), strikes a pose as he heads down the hall for his next performance.

Time Lapses?

Another test. I wanted to get a time lapse feel of a dandelion that had seeds. It is not one of my better macros but it was still fun to try out.
